Milan evaluates clinical interventions and works on research-ready clinical data infrastructure, with a focus on mental health, psychotherapy, electronic health records, and reproducible research software. He develops tools that make routinely collected healthcare data easier to analyse, document, and reuse for research, service evaluation, and healthcare quality improvement. Before joining the Bennett Institute for Applied Data Science he completed his DPhil in Experimental Psychology at the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma. He likes good documentation, consistent variable names, and mountains.

He is open to discussing project ideas with prospective DPhil students, particularly those interested in psychotherapy research, outcome measurement, electronic health records, and other mental health-related research projects.
